kitcat, I'm glad to hear you approve, it's one of these (that I care about) that I didn't have the opportunity to catch an advance screening of. I'm very excited to see this.

This actually looks as though it might not just be a violent non-sensical Tarantino flik and just be a good film. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the last one in IMAX. I should have been an oceanographer.

Still, it's Roger f'n Ebert. I trust his reviews more than any other critic in any other medium...even when it's only for 8 minutes.

It is surprising, with the budget and cast they have. I don't really approve of Frasier, but Jet Li was a great addition, but his role is so muted that he was really a non-factor in the film.

As far as the effects and sets, they were much less impressive in this installment, even the first film had much better effects, and the technology has advanced and become cheaper, yet they couldn't pull it off again.

I feel like they must know the reality of the times they are portraying. They take it very seriously, but the filmmakers give no hint to whether or not they have researched time periods and understand the ramifications of battle in that time.

I give them the benefit of the doubt.
