Throwing up another link post.

I recently wrote an article for Film-Forward on Slovenian cinema, in particular Guardian of the Frontier and When I Close My Eyes. Both of which were screening at Lincoln Center’s Slovenian film retrospective. Both are also some very interesting cinema that’s worth taking a look into. Slovenian cinema is really in bloom, it’s something special. You can read that article here.

Also published this week is the new issue of Intentionally Urban (inlur) which contains an article about films that will make you want to save the planet. InlUr is a print mag, but has the PDF available for free online - it’s really a pretty great magazine and is only in it’s second issue, so you should dance over there and take a look.
